Chapters 10-11 of Do Hard Things (pages 167-209) Come prepared to share /discuss what you learned. Even if you haven’t read any of the book, you can still just read the chapters!

The Kindness Daily Challenge – Week 3
This week we are going to exercise our intuition. Did you know get a lot of promptings every day to do good? But sometimes we don’t hear it, or we don’t feel like it or it’s too uncomfortable, or it’s too weird or… or… or…
But when we act on those promptings, it’s amazing what happens in our lives! We suddenly get connected to other people, to the spirit, to God. And we are led to being instruments in God’s hands and we can see him guiding us.
Rules of the Challenge
Do one act of kindness a day.
(1) It should be something you DON’T NORMALLY do.
(2) Consciously choose to recognize a good thought, notice what your brain does to stop you, and then do it.
(3) The act of kindness can be given to ANYONE.
(4) The act of kindness can be SIMPLE, and probably should usually be simple.
(5) Copying is ok. If you saw someone do something good, and then you think you should do, do it.
(6) You can do pre-planned service OR service that occurs spur of the moment.
(7) The kind act can be ANONYMOUS, OR NOT.
(8) Pray to recognize the good thoughts and you can pray to know who / how to help.
LEVEL UP: Notice when you get a thought to do good – and then notice what thoughts you get to STOP you from doing it. (Then do the good thing!)
BONUS LEVEL: Write down what you did each day. Also write what you were thinking about – did you have any thoughts to stop you? NEW TRACKER HERE

WATCH

As you watch this video, picture yourself as a warrior for God, wearing the full armor of God. As a warrior, look for your calls to action (to do good) every single day.
As you do the challenge this week, watch for your shoulder angel voice (prompts you to do good) and your shoulder devil voice (tells you why you shouldn’t do the good!)
Bob Goff is amazing at following his calls to action. His book “Love Does” is what inspired me to do the kindness challenge.
