BUSINESS PROJECT
Do your weekly action step(s) you wrote in planner this week to move closer to your semester goal.
CONNECT
Get on slack and report when you’ve completed your weekly action step. By telling other people, you will be more committed and supported. Even better – post your action step on Friday, then report when it’s done.
CHALLENGE
Make 1 sale in your business
READ/WRITE
Refine your Pitch Presentation for your business following these directions. LET’S GET THIS POLISHED!
NOTE: Make a presentation plus slides to go with it. DO something IN YOUR BUSINESS to show that you’re serious about your business.
Practice your pitch at home to at least one person.
Be PREPARED to present in class next week. In-class competition is March 2!
Pitchfest is scheduled for March 9, but we will have an in-class comp before that.
If you want to see other business ideas from what we looked at in class, here is the LINK.
TRACKING
1 – Time Tracking – Track how much time you spent on homework this week for this class, instead of just guessing. For this class, ASA has a recommended amount of time of 3-5 hours a week.
2 – Sales Tracking – Write down any sales you make on the last page of your planner.
Turn in the Homework checkoff sheet. BRING YOUR PLANNER TO CLASS WITH YOUR CHECK OFF SHEET!
MARK YOUR CALENDAR
You have the opportunity to win cash prizes ($100 to $1000) as an investment into your business and get professional feedback on your business!
I’m co-hosting a Teen PitchFest (shark tank style, but nicer and much lower pressure) on Saturday, MARCH 9 – 9:00am-12:30pm. Any teen can register for $25, but you can get in for free for being a member of this class. The odds are pretty good of winning at this point as this is a brand new event. I would LOVE to see every one of you win a prize!
There will also be a market with plenty of booths and traffic so you can showcase your wares or services. If you pitch, people will be even more likely to purchase from you!
