What to do?
Here are some things you can do over Winterim
- Get started early on the first book we will be reading next semester, The Jungle by Upton Sinclair
- Get started early on next semester’s family history presentation. We handed out the guidelines for the presentation on the last day of class before break, but HERE is a link to google doc version.
- Sign up early for the ancestor, historical topic reflected in their life, and date for the presentation. Sign up HERE.
- If you didn’t finish your supplemental reading/watching from the first semester keep working on that. HERE is the supplemental reading list. (You should have read/watched two for the first semester.) You will also need to read one book for the second semester and you can get started early on that.
- Work on your bonus level that you decided on. A reminder of the prizes and requirements are in THIS document.
- FINISH any other books or papers you didn’t finish during the first semester. You should have read two books over the first semester and written two papers for those books. PLEASE write them during the break if you haven’t already.
